Sunglasses

Summer is here! I'm going to the beach with my closest friend. Mallory and I pack a picnic lunch and spend the day soaking up some sun. We arrive at eleven am before the sun is too hot to handle on our fair skin. Apply some sun screen put on our brand new sunglasses that we got at the discount store on the way. The store had really some cute cheap sunglasses that were perfect for our face shape so we could not pass them up! As we are laying on our towels listening to music from my phone, a family of four settles close to us. Ops have to change the music since there are little ones present now.

The two kids go to the water and start splashing each other. Mallory looks at me and we both say "oh to be young again" at the same time.
As the siblings are splashing around I take off for the water it suddenly is hot and I need to cool down. The water feels nice against my close to sun burnt skin, maybe I should apply some more sun screen, I think to myself. I yell to Mallory to come join me in the water it feels great. We laugh and joke about when we were younger forgetting about all of our grown up stress.

Time passes and we decide to get out, drying off a bit, we add some more sun screen, I apply it generously to my face nothing worse than having sun burn on your face and put my cheap sunglasses back on. It's approaching two and I'm getting hungry so I grab a peanut butter and jelly sandwich from our bag to eat. We lay back down to get more of a tan and relax the rest of the day. It is a good time when you spend it at the beach.
